Sustainability
We're a small, newer supplier, so we want to be precise about what we're claiming here rather than making broad sustainability promises we can't back up. This page covers the concrete things that are actually true of the products we currently list — not a wider environmental policy or company-level commitment, which we haven't formalised yet.
Across our range, a meaningful number of products carry independent certifications or use materials chosen specifically to reduce single-use plastic and environmental impact. Where that's the case, it's stated on the individual product listing — this page just brings those details together in one place.
What This Actually Means
Several of our wood-based and paper-packaged products — including our wooden razor, straw comb, and shower cap packaging — are FSC certified, meaning the raw material is sourced from responsibly managed forests.
Our cotton towel set and duvet insert are OEKO-TEX certified, meaning the textiles have been independently tested for harmful substances.
Our shower cap is made from PLA, a plant-based material that breaks down naturally, and our vanity kit uses biodegradable cotton components — both reducing reliance on standard plastics.
Our Laily Botanique toiletries range (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) is formulated without sulphates and is vegan and cruelty-free.
A number of our amenity items — including our dental kit and razor kit — use kraft paper or corn-starch-based packaging rather than standard plastic wrapping.
Select bedroom items, including our wooden hanger and duvet insert, are BSCI certified, an audit standard covering working conditions in the supply chain.
Our Approach
We don't yet have a formal environmental or social policy, a carbon footprint assessment, or supply-chain audits beyond the individual product certifications listed above. We'd rather say that plainly than imply otherwise.
When sourcing new products, we look for FSC, OEKO-TEX, or equivalent certifications, and for materials like PLA or biodegradable alternatives, where a comparable option is available.
If you ask us a sustainability question about a specific product and we don't have a confident answer, we'll say so rather than guess — and we'll follow up once we do know.
Tell us what you need and we'll let you know honestly what we can and can't currently support.
